To date, this portion of the Opportunities Journey fund has disbursed gifts totalling $22,500 to:

• Spoolstra Family - (former Beechwood Youth Directors) have been doing mission work in Ecuador for the past five years.
• Talking Bibles International - This gift will supply seven target homes in seven villages in rural Africa with a Talking Bible. In these villages, people often can't read but as many as 50 people or more will gather to hear God's Word.
• Community Reformed Church in Utica, NY - to help the church with their restart. This gift was matched by the RCA.
• Families Victorious - to help underwrite their fundraising concert on September 27, 2008 (Steve Green at Central Wesleyan).
• Bible League - Bibles for Indonesia. This gift, doubled by an anonymous donor, will bring 500 Bibles to the people of Indonesia.
• Church Multiplication Service
• Jim and Sharon Heneveld (retiring RCA missionaries)
• Don and Connie Rock (former Beechwood Youth Directors now serving with Adventures in Mission (AIM)
• Water's Edge - a ministry to provide support, fellowship and refreshment for pastor's wives - visioned and pioneered by our member Jen Peterson
• Funds for a scholarship fund to support two students to participate in the ministry of Turning Pointe School of Dance which aims to help young dancers combining their love of dance with a deeper faith in Christ.
