Nursery Care |

The nursery exists to provide a safe, loving, and positive environment for both you and your child. Our volunteers will hold, hug, sing, play and pray with your child and for your child. The nursery is a child's first chance to see and feel the love of God's people coming together to care and raise them in Christ. The ministry partners serve the children because they care and want to follow Jesus' example of welcoming children to the family of God. Each area is staffed with two to four workers. Each team is scheduled one week per month. The nursery has a silent pager system that provides safety for your child. When you sign your child into the nursery, you will receive a pager with your child's number on it. Please return the pager when you pick up your child. We strive to make the nursery a safe, healthy, and happy place for your child. To insure the safety and health of others, please refrain from bringing your child to the nursery if they have had the following within the past 24 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, open sores, runny nose, fever, rash or unusually cranky. Church policy holds that nursery volunteers cannot change diapers or take children to the restroom. Infants This area is for infants and crawlers only, to provide safety for small children just learning to move and pull up on objects. No snacks are provided. Once the child is walking they will be moved to the next area. Walkers This area is for children up to 24 months. Snacks are provided. Your child will hear songs and stories provided by our volunteers. Two's This class is for children 24 – 36 months. They will participate in activities, bible stories, music, crafts, and still have plenty of time for play.
