With the desire to reach out to the community, a project began in 1990. Working with the Good Samaritan Center and Intercare, a need was identified. There is an opportunity to serve pregnant migrant and low-income women. The women referred to us by written references will receive maternity clothes, a crib, infant clothes and a layette for newborn babies. The women visit us at Beechwood Church on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00pm from April through October. There are several different opportunities for involvement. New volunteers are always welcome, and we would be pleased to have you partner with us in this ministry. Join many others already at work by contacting Imelda Baeza to learn more.

The Beacon Ministry provides a welcome and shares the love of Jesus Christ with cross cultural families by providing basic child care items to women referred to us by various agencies throughout the area.
